Former Chief Executive Officer of Tesco Ireland Limited and C&C plc, Maurice is currently Vice-Chairman of Serious Fun Children’s Network, Chairman of Powerscourt Distillery Limited and The Coombe Hospital and is a non-executive director of Bfree Foods Holdings Limited. Maurice was appointed Chairman of the Uniphar Board in 2009, having joined the Board as a non-executive director in 2003.

An industry veteran, Ger joined Uniphar from Celesio, where he was Managing Director of Movianto and Head of Celesio Manufacturing Solutions. He is a Chartered Accountant by training and has held a range of senior positions in supply chain with Cahill May Roberts and the wider Celesio Group. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2010.

Formerly a member of the senior management team at Topaz Energy Limited, Tim was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Uniphar Group in 2010. Previous to this, Tim had held various senior financial positions with Shell. He is an EY trained Chartered Accountant.

Paul joined the Board on 27 June 2019. Paul was Chief Financial Officer at Nelipak Healthcare, a specialist healthcare packaging business in Rhode Island, US until early 2020. He also previously served as the Director of Development and Chief Financial Officer of the Clondalkin Group and trained in audit and business advisory in PwC.

Jim joined the Board in January 2021. Jim, a Chartered Accountant and former CFO of Sanofi Ireland & Mount Carmel Private Hospital, has a strong track record in financial management and global healthcare. He is a former director of Carraig Insurance and Valeant Pharmaceuticals Ireland and is currently a non-executive director of a number of OPKO Health subsidiaries.

Valerie joined the Board in January 2024 and has over 25 years’ senior international experience in private and publicly listed pharmaceutical and life science companies in Europe. She has held senior financial and management roles including managing very diverse operations from a profitability and value creation point of view and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of bioMerieux Deutschland GmbH. Valerie is fluent in French, German and English and also has a strong interest in climate friendly business models and long-term sustainable business.
