Our People
We are a people-driven business and ensure our Workforce strategies align with our sustainability goals.
ED&I
We have an ED&I Strategy in place and have rolled out many initiatives in recent years aligned to that, including the launch of our Women in Leadership Programme, creation of gender neutral and inclusive job descriptions and a company-wide Wellness framework to support physical and mental health. Uniphar is committed to an ongoing focus on developing our global talent pool and building a more diverse leadership team for the future. As of 31 December 2025, women accounted for 31% of senior management, up from 28% at the end of 2024.
Gender Pay Gap Reporting
We ensure we comply with local legislation on disclosure of gender pay gap information in all of our businesses. In 2025, we published a consolidated Gender Pay Gap Report covering all entities within the Republic of Ireland. This is available on our website here.
Health & Safety
In Health & Safety, our goal is to prioritise prevention and drive continuous improvement, ensuring that our working environment is never compromised for economic or productivity
reasons. We implement our Health and Safety actions in partnership with all businesses within the Group, supporting a consistent and collaborative approach. In 2025, Uniphar recorded 53 workplace injuries across the workforce (2024: 54) and 16 near-misses (2024: 17). While overall incident numbers remained broadly consistent year-on-year, the severity profile remained controlled. Stable reporting levels indicate continued engagement with incident and near-miss reporting processes, supporting visibility of risk and enabling timely corrective actions.
Learning & Development
During 2025, Uniphar expanded its leadership academy programmes to include our new Women in Leadership and Aspire mentoring programmes. Since inception over 270 managers have now participated in our management and leadership programmes. This year we continued to develop our early careers programme with the addition of a new intake of graduates joining our Graduate Development Programme.
Workers in Our Supply
Chain
As a global company, Uniphar depends on a large number of tier 1 suppliers providing goods or services to our business. We therefore impact workers in our global supply chain both directly and indirectly, for example when sourcing pharmaceuticals and medical devices from manufacturers or through logistic partners when distributing those products. We aim to ensure all of our partners across our global supply chain meet and uphold the expected minimum requirements for human rights, health and safety and environmental topics. That goal is supported by our Supplier Code of Conduct, our Modern Slavery Statement and our Responsible Sourcing Commitment Statement. Find more information here in our Annual Report page 50.
Responsible Sourcing
Our Responsible Sourcing Programme is responsible for structured engagement with our suppliers on the topics that matter most to Uniphar. The Programme is run by a group of representatives from across our divisions, to ensure a consistent approach across our diverse business. During 2025 we carried out analysis of the public-facing sustainability information of 100 of our key suppliers and using the outputs of this analysis, we are planning to engage with some of these suppliers to understand more about where they are on their sustainability journey and how we maybe able to help support their capability development.
Our Patients
The needs of our customers, including manufacturers, pharmacies, hospitals and the patients they serve, remain central to everything we do. Our can-do approach, together with a strong commitment to the highest standards of product quality, patient safety, and data privacy, ensures that our customers and patients always remain a high priority.
Product Quality and Patient Safety
Uniphar maintains a robust approach to quality management and regulatory compliance, underpinned by a commitment to the highest operational standards. During 2025, the Group expanded its accreditation framework, achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification coverage across 70% of the organisation. Our validated digital Quality Management System (QMS) enables real time monitoring, full traceability and strong data integrity and is underpinned by core Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles. These standards remain fundamental to ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of healthcare products throughout their lifecycle. Our Quality Management approach is anchored in a comprehensive suite of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that govern all aspects of our operations and set out clear requirements for employees in relevant roles.
Selling practices and product labelling
As a healthcare organisation engaged in the sale, marketing and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, Uniphar operates within a highly regulated environment governed by extensive legislation and industry Codes of Practice. These frameworks — including ABPI, IPHA, EFPIA Code and the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice — set out strict obligations relating to selling practices, interactions with healthcare professionals and the promotion and labelling of medicinal products. The Group’s quality policies, manuals, comprehensive SOPs and structured training programmes ensure that these obligations are met consistently and to the highest standard.
Compliance with the EFPIA Code is central to our governance framework. This includes strict requirements on interactions with healthcare professionals, which are captured in our dedicated procedures which mandate adherence to both EFPIA and national Codes when engaging with stakeholders, providing hospitality, or supporting educational activities. The Group also maintains a dedicated in-house Medical Team which plays a critical role in ensuring scientific and medical governance across the organisation.
The Group remains committed to enabling healthcare professionals to make optimal therapeutic decisions for their patients. By providing complete, accurate and up-to-date information in accordance with legislation and industry Codes, and by maintaining strong medical and regulatory oversight, we uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and promote the safe and effective use of medicinal products.
Customer Privacy and GDPR
We are committed to protecting the personal data that we process as part of our service provision. We ensure that customers can trust us to keep their personal data safe and that they have a clear understanding of how and why the data is used. Uniphar has a robust GDPR framework in place, to ensure that we are operating consistently across the organisation and in accordance with applicable laws. We also support the evaluation, implementation and monitoring of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and processes to ensure that they do not present any risk to data subjects.
The Group has a Privacy Policy, which is available on the Group’s website: www.uniphar.ie/static/privacy statement and a Data Protection Policy, which is available to data subjects.
