We have just completed a review of our phone-based customer service operation, focusing on call volume and customer wait times, as part of our efforts to make it easier for community pharmacists to work with Uniphar.
As a result of that review, we realised that there were improvements to be made in dealing with call volumes at the busiest times of the day. As a consequence, we will be moving resources from the beginning and end of the day (8.00am- 9.00am and 7.00pm- 8.00pm), when there are significantly lower call volumes, to the peak hours. We are also removing the Saturday phone service as usage was very low.
By redistributing the resources, we will be able to provide a quicker response at the high volume periods of the day (12-2pm and 5-6pm) and the busiest days (Monday and Friday) when the largest numbers of customers want to use the phone service.
The new Uniphar Customer Service phone line opening hours, effective from 17th July 2017, are:
Monday – Friday 9am – 7pm
As always, customers can access our website www.uniphar.ie to place orders and manage their account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no change to your current cut off times and both DOE and PIMs continue to remain available 24/7.
