The team focuses on the needs of the community pharmacists and they are the Group’s direct physical contact to ensure pharmacists receives the best service and understanding of what their individuals businesses need.

The Uniphar Wholesale Sales and Pharmacy Managers call into the pharmacists in their area regularly. They are always available for their customers to offer guidance on opportunities and to help pharmacists with their day to day business.  The team is up to date on what manufacturer offers and deals are available.

Our sales team are equipped with a state of the art Territory Management System and are the first team to use this system in Ireland. The Arcos system allows for effective territory management, historical data collection and immediate information analysis.

The Uniphar Wholesale sales team has the experience and knowledge to offer pharmacies, hospital and veterinary surgeries the very best support to help them in their everyday practices and functions. 

Marketing Support

The marketing team works closely with the Sales team to help provide opportunities for pharmacists.  A newsletter is produced quarterly and highlights the activities of the Group and introduces new ideas and offerings for pharmacy.
 

The Uniphar Group is very proud of its Platinum Sponsorship of the National IPU Conference over the past few years and continues to work with the IPU throughout the year.
 

Regional meetings throughout the country are held twice annually. The aim of these meetings is to provide information and training to pharmacies to help them grow their sales and margin. The meeting also contain an accredited CPD presentation.

Link is the largest buying group amongst pharmaceutical wholesalers.  Marketing supports this growing membership base by introducing new ways for pharmacies to help grow their profit – one recent addition is the membership partner service offers which help pharmacists reduce the cost of running their businesses.

All communications from the marketing department embrace the ethos of the community pharmacist and aim to highlight the professionalism and expertise of the community pharmacist to the general public.
